London, UK – 5 December 2016 – RTX, the global voice and SMS exchange today announce Miles Esfahani will step up to the role of CEO as Albert Mackey moves into the role of Chairman.
Mackey has over 30 years’ experience in the telecoms industry being the holder of the first simple resale license in the UK. Since then he has built and sold a number of successful telecoms businesses including United Telecom, First National and Interoute. During his 4 years as CEO RTX was recognised as the 11th fastest growing company in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100. As Chairman he will lead RTX investment raise in 2017 and eventual goal of an IPO.
The last 4 years has seen tremendous growth in the RTX business. Revenues have grown exponentially year on year gaining global recognition with the Sunday Time Tech Track 100 and Deloitte UK Fast 50 Tech awards. In order to continue RTX’s growth trajectory for 2017 I need to focus on our investment raising and ultimate IPO plan. By taking up the role as Chairman I can ensure these plans come to fruition.” Albert Mackey, Chairman.
Esfahani, as CEO, will build upon his work as Managing Director where he oversaw RTX growth becoming the leading global exchange for voice and SMS. He began his RTX career heading up the Partner Program growing the division gaining valuable insights into the ever changing dynamics of the wholesale voice market. 2017 is expected to be a huge year in the progress of RTX and this reorganisation will align the management team to fully maximise the opportunity and meet the challenges heads on
“I am delighted to be able to continue my work towards the growth of RTX in my new role as CEO. Having experienced the growth of the company initially within the Partner Program division, RTX’s partner branded switching platforms to global operators I was able to fully appreciate RTX unique selling points and the challenges it faced. Then latterly as MD I was able put this knowledge into effect enabling the growth of RTX. As we move into 2017 the challenge facing RTX will require me to further utilise this insight to focus the company on its core strengths as well as plan out our development road map both for our own exchange as well as for our partner platforms.” Miles Esfahani, CEO

LONDON, UK – 18 November 2016 – RTX, the global voice, call centre and SMS exchange hub, announced today that it has garnered global recognition for its impressive business growth and innovation, which included ranking number 14th on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 league table.
The Deloitte league table ranks the UK’s fastest growing technology companies based on revenue increase over four years, with RTX achieving 1204% growth. In addition to the Deloitte ranking, for the second consecutive year RTX featured in the top 20 (11th) of the prestigious Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100, which also recognises the UK’s fastest growing technology companies. RTX recorded the highest revenue of any company in the top 20 of the league table this year.
RTX’s progress over the last two years alone has resulted in the company becoming the leading voice exchange hub for the telecoms industry. From January 2015 to November 2016, 2.5 billion minutes were traded on RTX’s platform, which is a made up of a community of thousands of operators. RTX Fast Pay, which provides suppliers with faster access to funds when selling voice, call centre and SMS services across the exchange, took the market by storm, accounting for triple digit profit growth since its inception in 2015.
This growth marks the culmination of a period which has seen a rapid expansion of RTX’s customer portfolio, with a total of six major white label customers now trading using its Partner Program. These include household names Deutsche Telekom and PCCW. Since partnering with RTX, Deutsche Telekom has added 150 new customers to its wholesale voice platform – Dynamic Voice Exchange (DVX). The operator recently introduced full smartphone and tablet compatibility, which allows its customers to manage their wholesale voice business with even more flexibility, a trend that is likely to gain traction throughout the industry.
“With the popularity of our Partner Program increasing and the success of our Fast Pay and SMS services, RTX’s growth will undoubtedly continue,” said Alex Mashinsky, Global CEO, RTX. “Ranking in both the Tech Track and now Fast 50 is fantastic recognition of the company’s commercial value.”
Founder of Arbinet and Transit Wireless and a pioneer of VoIP technology, Mashinsky joined RTX in September and will build on the success of the past year, driving the next phase of RTX’s growth.
He added, “RTX continues to play a critical role in enabling operators to securely trade voice and SMS across the globe. Looking ahead, I’m committed to further expanding RTX’s investor relationships to drive growth in 2017, a year in which we expect to hit the $1 billion revenue run-rate mark."
